Support a Visionary Artist and Own a Piece of History

As it seems that this “Conversation” will be what I will be doing for (at very least) the next eight months, I need to find some way to support myself.

I went through all the first drafts and outtakes from April through July of this series and chose a representative thirty, each stamped CO (Conversation Outtakes) and numbered.

What I was most looking for were thirty strong pages that, I felt, held up as drawings.

In some ways, as drawings, I prefer the first drafts because I don’t have to be concerned with whether the writing is legible. The scribbled and often crossed-out writing mirrors the energy of the drawing it accompanies.

They also contain greater immediacy, because they are my thoughts as they arose. Refinement has its place, but then so does spontaneity.

The vision behind this particular idea is to make this initial offering available to as wide of an audience as possible, without making them ridiculously cheap.

After thinking about it a lot, I’ve settled on $100 a drawing.

I know that may sound like a lot to many, but by fine art standards, my resume, that’s a give away price.

And then you consider that this is an historical series, and these happen to be cosmic times.

Price of future offerings may change depending on interest.
