DAY FIVE

Did you see the massive crowds of demonstrators in Istanbul after Erdogan jailed his rival?

I was listening to an interview with a young woman, a student, and she said that she and her classmates go to school during the day, and then attend the protests at night with their teacher’s permission. She had experienced tear gas, had seen people beaten, but she said that the young people don’t care any more because they have nothing to lose. No future under Erdogan.

She sounded just as innocent and sweet as any teenager anywhere.

It’s not just an America thing.

It’s a world thing.

The strong men want to take over.

Just look at Trump’s cabinet picks.

Isn’t that enough for anyone?

It’s like a carnival act or something.

Most have no qualification, many described as uniquely unqualified for the positions they hold.

To me, they mostly all have the same feeling as the National Enquirer guy.

They all seem to lack depth, character, integrity.

Trump seems to strongly dislike anyone who has depth, character and integrity.

That Secretary of Defense guy, Pete Hegseth, being confronted by a reporter after the chatroom fiasco, looked like a little boy busted for smoking in the lavatory.

I find it hard to believe that anyone, anywhere, Trump supporter or no, thinks that the men and women in our military can honestly look up to a person like that.

When compared to anyone who held that position before him (just be honest as it is screamingly obvious) he is just an insecure child.

But me, I feel like I was made for this moment.

I’m a visionary artist.

All my life I’ve been trying to engage people concerning visionary things, but when everything is just rolling along, people become complacent.

Nothing new can take root and grow.

Nobody is complacent now.
