The figures project

There is a sign above all the various doors at The Wae Center: Office, Kitchen, Library, Meditation Room.The sign above Marilynn’s office reads: Visionary.

Sometimes I wonder what it must have been like, back at the very beginning, when The Wae Center was just an idea in the hearts and minds of a handful of people, with Marilynn taking the lead.

It’s come a long way, Her Baby.

One of the reasons why, has to do with Marilynn’s ability to see potential in the people she has chosen to run the place.

If our members be Rock Stars, our staff be Wizards.

They are all professionals, but what’s more, they do what they do, with a lot of love and grace.

It’s who they are.

Sometimes I really do think of The Wae Center as being at the center of the universe.

At least the thought of it is - which is how the vast majority of people on the planet will ultimately experience it.

Much like this art show - we had to first create it, so that others can experience it, and then think about it. Reflect upon it. Take it home with them.

That’s what changes hearts and minds.
